In this episode, Michael had a pleasure to talk to Alexander Argyros, one of the founders of Berlin-based fin-tech Moonfare. He started his career working in Investment Banking for J.P. Morgan in New York and London, and later on for KKR, a leading private equity firm. After that, he co-founded a startup Somuchmore, acquired by Urban Sports Club.
He founded Moonfare in 2016 with a goal of giving individuals access to top-tier global equity funds and building a team that will help to grow the business. Alexander says that at his company, they believe that potential is much more important than experience. Listen to the episode to find out more about it. On top of that, Michael asked him about building the team from scratch, getting the early talent on board, and adjusting a hiring strategy with time.
